All deeds for Crown Lands must be signed by the Governor General
The law office will call the Private Secretary to the Governor General to make an appointment to see the Governor General, who will first peruse the document and if no errors, will sign in the presence of the lawyer, after which a seal will be affixed. Appointments are based on the availability of the Governor General.
All deeds must be perused and signed by the Office of the Attorney General before they brought to the Office of the Governor General for signature.
Documents with errors will not be signed and a subsequent appointment will have to be made.
